Radhika is not known for looks but performances...otherwise how she could've lasted in the industry so long with such an appearance?

Also, her voice / dialog delivery is among the best in the industry IMO. (FYI, she gave voice to Radha in mudhal mariyAdhai)

I am not sure he was charging a crore in 1989 for a movie.....

BTW, is Visu writing some of JJ's assembly / public speeches? She has used this 'வருத்தப்படுறேன், வெக்கப்படுறேன், வேதனைப்படுறேன்' dialog a few times as per news reports, e.g. one about her koottaNi with DMDK

I've heard the same dialog in a few movies with Visu as vasanakarthA (Radhika utters this dialog to Rajini in NN)...

TRIVA:

Initially Vijaykanth was asked for a villan role but he refused. Karate RVT Mani agreed to play Villan role but backed out last minute as he cited the reason that he was a martial trainer though this is a movie and the movie would be like Hero(Rajini) winning over villan(himself) he does not like it
SO the producers and SPM found it difficult to find a villan for this movie. They even asked for writer Panchu Arunachalam but he backed out
It was at that time Jaishankar himself dropped at AVM office and asked what are you going to do when Karate mani has refused the movie ( They were not astonished as Jai sir had very good contacts all over the industry because of his friendly nature). He accepted the viilan role thereby making it second movie in Combo of AVM, Rajini & SPM literally the same team

villain role for Vijayakanth.. is that for Payum puli (or) MurattukaaLai?

initially Vijayakanth acted along with Rajini in "en kElvikku enna badhil".. but he was replaced by someone else after few days of shoot..

there was one pic Rajini lighting a cigar for Vijayakanth taken in the sets (of E K E B).. i'm not getting now
