The other day I was watching Thangappa dhakkam. One of the things which stuck me was how much actors like VV intentionally and / or unintentionally do things like NT. Many actors have said that, after NT there is not any other actor who was not inspired by him in the TFI.

I want to pose a question to people like PR, Grouch, Plum who have a good amount of knowledge about NT and also are fans of aNNan. People like MuraLi sir can answer too, but not sure if they have watched or followed GM much.

The Q is this: Has aNNan ever been inspired by Sivaji?

Let me also post what I think. I think no, but my knowledge on NT movies are very less.

As PR pointed out recently naani kOni from maatraan seems to be inspired by aNNan's kavidhai on Chinna Pasanga Naanga. Another one is "Nadukadalula Kappala Erangi Thalla Mudiyumaa" from attakaththi inspired by the sEthupathi comedy.

VV does that a lot, and so does Vivek who switches from NT to Rajini which is not much of a difference for us anyway. You are right, that question makes me think. Even Senthil spoofs NT (my sonnnn...).

Of course, I never buy the fact that after NT there is no other actor not inspired by him. There are terrible actors out there, enough proof.

OraLavu established actors paththi sonnEn. some times unintentionally their body language reflects NTs. This is what I wanted to know abt GM as well.

Once he has done an MGR bit. Before taking the lEgiyam which brings the youth back (thaalattu kEkkuthammaa), he places the index finger and the next one on the nose and flies it off. After that he goes into "love love eththanai azhagu" where he does a better job than Ravichandran.
