நீங்களும் ஏன் ஆஸ்கார் அவார்டுக்கு முயற்சி செய்யக் கூடாது?

“ஆஸ்கார்” விருது என்பது ஒரு ஐந்தாறு பேர் கொண்ட குழு. இந்தக் குழு தீர்மானிப்பதுதான் உயர்ந்தது என்று அர்த்தமில்லை! அதைவிடச் சிறந்த இசை அவர்களின் கவனத்திற்கு வராமலே போயிருக்கலாம். விருதிற்காக விண்ணப்பம் செய்த படங்களுக்குள்ளும் கலைஞர்களுக்குள்ளும் மட்டுமே அவர்கள் தேர்வு செய்கிறார்கள்.

See that vengaayam Parthasarathy the way he asks his question, NeengaLum Which means, Rahman has got oscars, why not you too! So he wants Raja to do whatever rahman does. He almost keeps Raja in same pedestal of Rahman! What a pure crap!! Rajavum Rahmanum oNNaa! For that case, is any contemporary MD comparable with Raja?!? Nope! If you say yes, your understanding about Raja is too limited.

Also, what Raja says is true too, right?! He clearly agrees that the films are chosen only within the applied list of films. So can't there not be any artist/album outside Oscars? Is academy award the ultimate authority?? No right?! At max you can say that Raja is completely wrong when he says there is only 5 or 6 members in selection. There may be more and the selection process too may be too elaborate. So we can at max take it as an புரிதல் தவறு and it has nothing insulting or defaming even by in his opinion, about ANY of the Academy winners. There are many many neutral or not so side-taken, casual music fans who don't feel anything great in Slumdog millionaire, leave alone Raja fans. But wrt this answer, one need not even look at that point at all. Even without all that, what Raja said is nothing wrong. He is very low profile and sounds normal when he says "இந்தக் குழு தீர்மானிப்பதுதான் உயர்ந்தது என்று அர்த்தமில்லை! அதைவிடச் சிறந்த இசை அவர்களின் கவனத்திற்கு வராமலே போயிருக்கலாம்."

Whatever, Raja is above all awards. No second opinion in that.

Yes it is **his** opinion and he can have any opinion. Just that when he talks about creativity, knowledge in music, fast brain, its well known fact that Raja is megamiles away from any contemporary composers and Srini can just go to any of his industry friends and they will say the same.

//dig And now, even if you get into srini's opinion, he is a professional singer, he is a judge in music competitions, so he shud be knowing music. So if he says that Rahman has showcased his fast brain, super high creativity and even something beyond that, in that Kadal Song, As a musician Srini shud write and explain how did he arrive at that conclusion. But anyways that is not related to this post. And its not something new that Rahman composed a melody number. Its not even new that Rahman uses Live Instruments. But srini, suddenly, jumping and pouring power-statements like these, just feels that he is desperate to prove something
