Liked it! First half pidikala [ except that "operation" scene ]. Second half is good, climax is very quick and I thought "avvlothana!".
Vijay, can't believe that he is nearing 40!

Romance between Kajal - Vijay is mokka.

Of late Vijay's best screen presence, especially in the second half. Logic ellam paakama enjoy pannalaam. Nice entertainer.

Vijay fan will love it, others will like the second half.

When I was watching the movie, I remembered this dialogue unintentionally from Mahanadigan by Sathyaraj immitating captain voice "Engga aatha aadu valatha, kozhi valatha, vaan kozhi mattum valakkala, yen theriyuma? pakistan theeviravadhigal sutruvaanga-nu thaan"

But when the movie started with this plot I started yawning, its Murgadoss screenplay, Vijay's screenpresence and acting helped

Btw Ghilli vs Thuppaki comparison? No way, Ghilli still remains his best. Thuppaki is better than his previous movies in the last 5 years.

They used one of the Goundamani's popular dialogue in the movie very well

i could see whole theatre laughing out loud and applausing for that scene !
