What has happened to this team? Missing RD and VVS is quite understandable but to this extent? Well and truly the last series for MS as a test captain I believe.

Something seriously wrong here with the team. This has to be one of the worst ever slides that I 've seen. If India loses the series, guess we will see the exit of both Dhoni and SRT. Has been an absolutely torturous series for us.

Never thought I would see this day
time for one of the openers to go, its not about their technique for me, its about the attitude which has been poor. Yuvi can also go back to domestic cricket and come back fitter.. Wrt bowling I don't see anyone in the domestic circle capable of replacing this spin duo..

How can we win the series when players are playing for themselves instead
of the country. We have to bring in new players and axe the non performers.

Given Sachin's slide (and Dravitt,Laxman exeunt) this isn't even surprising.
Something I have notionally felt - and have been pilloried for saying - India never felt like a world number one side. Ever.
Felt - operative word. Subjective opinion. Will evaporate in the face of statistics. Reflective of personal biases. Or what have you.
I am so glad England has bounced back in the subcontinent. They looked pretty bad in Dubai.
I am still quite disappointed with the way they crumbled against S Africa. Ashes will be interesting.

Cook tried to emulate Sehwag
History created by England.
Don't think they aren such a great team. But still India managed to lose this match.
When your No.8 batsman scores 90+, you can't blame your bowlers. Can you?
I don't think India will win in Nagpur. Will Nagpur damage Dhoni like what it did to Ganguly? Let us wait and see.

He played like shit against Pakistan this year. Even in the home series against Pak in 2010 he had lesser clue against Amir & Asif managing a 110 and scores of 8,12,17,4,6 and 10. Now that was quality bowling. Even against SL Pietersen saved England.
176,122 and 190.

He played quite well against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. And he played well last time too. He was primed to do well. Only the extent is a surprise, and a pleasant on at that.
Don't troll me saying your side was a 1

top players are sponsored by corporates-corporates are controlling selection
why can't we have age limit, score target, wicket targets.
IPL has spoiled the quality of indian cricket-
other teams have special players for each form of cricket.
