Similarity between John F.Kennedy, Mrs.Indira Gandhi and M.G.Ramachandran.

What is the similarity between John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Mrs.Indira Gandhi and MGR, all are Leaders – right, but there is another similarity, John Kennedy the Late President of United States of America, born on 29.5.1917, assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, Texas. Mrs.Indira Gandhi, Late Prime Minister of India, born on 19.11.1917, assassinated by her own body guards in her own home and finally MGR, Late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu survived attempt to life on 12.1.1967 in his own home. The Leaders born on 1917 has faced a Gun in their life and also they died as a Ruler.

Prominent persons say that MGR always succeeded in whatever venture he entered to. When he became an Actor he was successful in the Box Office. When he produced, the Films were successful – sumptuous sets and costumes are well remembered. When he Directed the movies he was far superior to others, the theme of the film, the portrayal, the camera angle, the editing, the fights etc., when he entered Politics he was the Champion, undefeated!

In one instance MGR's Mentor Peraringnar Anna quoted that whatever field my brother (MGR) enters he will succeed, because MGR has mammoth Will Power and his endeavour to triumph.

Sun-Tzu wrote:-

One who does not know the enemy but knows himself will sometimes be victorious, sometimes meet with defeat.

Most of the mayyam members would have read God Father by Mario Puzo. When I read that book way back in 2006 I found some similarities though MGR is real but Don Vito Corleone is not. Below are some of the similarities of MGR (real person) and Don Vito (fictional character)

The Character Don Vito Corleone is very much like MGR, some of the instances the Don faces in the novel has lot of coincidence.

Name : M.G.Ramachandran / Don Vito Corleone

Birth Place : Srilanka/ Corleone, Sicily

Reason for moving from birth place : MGR came to India due to his Father's death/ Vito came to U.S. after his father's death

Both MGR and Don have Love for his countrymen and oppressed.

Both got Bullet wound and survived (Don in his story)

"M" in MGR stands for Maruthur his native place/Vito Corleone - Corleone his native place

Their Attitudes: Both attitude was Good for Good and Bad for Bad

Death : MGR died in his own house called "Ramavaram Gardens" /Don died in his own house, and in the
