Film / Documentary - Recently watched & worthy of some discussion

Never said she would get an award and all. The movie is about a cat and mouse game between the protagonist and antagonist. So its normal for the audience to get irritated if a heroine comes into the narration and pesters the hero to love her. But Nayan's screen presence ensured that her role was the third best in the film and whenever she made an appearance she got only claps and whistles and not boos. What more can you ask from a heroine?

if thats the case, credit should go to the script writer not nayan..if a role is good, even karthika wont look annoying Btw, third best role goes to thambi ramaiyah..

izzit? VSOP watched it first day of release..didnt read any reviews..watched thani oruvan after reading so many very good reviews..expectations athigam aagi ended up jst a decent movie..loopholes neraya iruku but cant seem to remember now cant match papanasam in terms of screenplay..

Not necessarily, bro. Best example is Avantika from Baahubali. The character was a well written one and she is pivotal to the story linking Shivu to the city of Magizhmadhi. But Tammu spoilt it with her body language and she appeared as the only weak link in the otherwise perfect film. For acting as a warrior girl, you don't have to walk with an open chest and closed fists. A fiery look is more than enough. Such nuances differentiate a good actor from an actor or say, Anushka or Nayan from Tammu.

//Not pointing out Tamannaah because she is your favorite heroine. But when i thought of heroines spoiling (at least a bit) a good film, unfortunately only Baahubali comes to my mind in the recent times. I understand you haven't watched the film yet. When you do, pls check it out //

Tamanna cant act - simple. Just like Prashant who worked with Balu Mahendra, Maniratnam, Shankar etc. You cant blame the directors.

Ennathu tammu cant act? thats like saying Kamal cant act Ajay's view is his personal and is not generally accepted that Tammu performed badly in Bahubali..Picked a few reviews and heres what the say..

Tamannah Bhatia is superb, especially in the scenes where she plays the warrior.

For Tamannaah, there is more of action than romance and the svelte beauty is quite convincing in her role as Avantika.

Im guessing she didnt fit the role not that she cant act..Just like actors vijay/ajit/surya who can only shine in certain type of roles..

Luckily neenga Kamal fan.. if other actors, i would be firing salvos to defend Tammu
