A legendary senior actor to join 'Vijay 58'?
The cast of 'Vijay 58', which is to be helmed by director Chimbudevan seems to be getting bigger and bigger. The latest we hear is that 'Ilaya Thilagam' Prabhu is set to be approached for a role in the film. If he indeed accepts to be a part of the film, then the already glittering cast list of Vijay, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika and Sudeep would look even more wondrous.
With music by Devi Sri Prasad, camera work by Natty, editing by Sreekar Prasad and art work by Muthuraj, 'Vijay 58' would go on floors as soon as Ilayathalapathy completes work on Kaththi.

He has tremendous active fan network online much BIGGER AND BETTER than any. He may have haters as well but his fan base is much bigger than all the hatreds combined. Hence he comes out SUCCEEDING.

Moondru Mugam is better not touched. Like HR pointed out, it has nothing except the Alex Pandian character and I doubt if anyone will do justice to that role. Rajni's style made that role an iconic one.

Enough has been said about Jigarthanda already, the movie has enjoyed a dream run at the box-office so far and will still hold a fair number of shows in Chennai city in the coming week's schedule, in-spite of Anjaan's massive release.

So, what was Vijay¡¯s reaction to calling the snake Ilayathalapathy?
Honestly, he didn¡¯t ask me anything. In fact no one did. It was a commercial move to name the snake after the superstar and it wasn¡¯t intended to hurt anyone. If it was indeed intended to hurt Vijay, I myself wouldn¡¯t have taken up the project. Vijay is my close friend and I knew he¡¯d approve of it.

Recently Vijay was present during Shankar's birthday party and this news in turn has lead to buzz that Shankar's next project will be with Vijay. After Nanban, Vijay has became a close friend to Shankar and even Shankar was invited for the Vijay films' success parties.

After the success of, 'Nanban' which is a remake of Aamir Khan's blockbuster '3 Idiots', Vijay has expressed his wish to be a part of typical Shankar brand magnum opus commercial movie multiple times in various TV interviews & Award ceremonies.
Shankar is currently busy with the post production works for 'Ai' and there were news that, he approached Rajini for 'Enthiran 2' but given the health condition of Superstar, the idea for Chitti's sequel has taken a back seat. Some went to claim that Ajith will be doing the sequel, but Shankar himself has denied the same on his page.

Ajay, i am beginning to wonder what difference a permanent ban makes too. You always have the choice of taking a new avatar, a brand new name and unleash. Even if the serial provocater gets banned, tomorrow we may see a new Akilan or Illamaran or Selvaratnam or Vijayaratnam, a brand new avatar.

Vijay 58 gets bigger!
Vijay, who is yet to complete the shoot for Kaththi with A.R.Murugadoss will be shifting to his next untitled project directed by Chimbudevan. This upcoming project will be a fantasy entertainer which will be having many popular names like Sridevi, Kicha Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and many. The budget of this project is said to around 85crores and already the pre-production works are going on in full swing.
This project will go on floors at once kaththi gets wrapped-up and the title-look/first-look shall be revealed along with that. This film also has well known technicians like Natty (cinematography), Muthuraj (Art direction), Sreekar Prasad (Editing), the computer graphics will be taken care by the team who worked for Magadeera (Telugu) and Naan Ee. Devi Sri Prasad who has signed this project have already started working with the tunes. This project will be a Bilingual in Tamil & Telugu and will also have a Hindi dub.

Anirudh Ravichander, who is composing music for Vijay¡¯s Kaththi is currently busy in the final works of film¡¯s audio. The audio release of Kaththi will be happening on 18th of this month. There is a huge buzz that Anirudh has been roped in to compose music for Vijay¡¯s 59th film which will be directed by Atlee of Raja Rani fame.

Vijay accepts Mammootty’s challenge
It was only a few weeks ago that actor Mammootty accepted the My Tree Challenge — an online eco revolution started by environmentalists Abdul Manaf and Imthias Kadeer — from Fahadh Faasil. I am still in awe listening to the Vijay version of Selfie Pulla. Its not a great tune. But Vijay's singing has elevated the song to a different level and the person who sang it first is not a bad singer either. He has sung for Rahman recently and thats a chartbuster too. But to leap ahead of him is definitely remarkable. :)

The recent article by Abishek Raaja on Vijay's singing was a good read.

Despite turning everyone off because of his early looks and the type of movies he acted, Vijay's singing even in those early days was peppy. His stunts were quite good too. When he started exhibiting graceful dancing and evolved a causal acting style of his own, he suddenly became an allrounder and a versatile commercial actor :) His comedy timing and sense have also come a long way.

Vijay's Warning to his Fans

The latest trend is not in clothes and shoes, not in the new edge to movies these days, but is in the condemnable spirit of the public in uniting for the wrong reasons, and hurtfully making out memes, trolling and slashing at artistes that they don't feel entertaining or talented enough in their terms. This is not a new concept - there has always been many when Ajith and Vijay fans had to take it out on each other, and some, particularly Vijay fans, teasing Khushboo and director Venkat Prabhu, about which Khushboo herself had complained to Vijay. The most recent hike on the matter happened with director Linguswamy becoming the subject of entertainment and troll, after the audience's dissatisfaction with 'Anjaan' on the contrary to his ambitious interviews about the movie.

When director Venkat Prabhu pitched in for Linguswamy, he was made a subject of jokes too, and the cine industry thinks all this is really getting out of hand. Now Ilayathalapathy has come out with an opening warning to his fans. He gathered his fan club for a meeting and announced that if anybody from the fan club involved in such demeaning activities, then he would have to take the strong decision of dissolving the fan club altogether! We're aware of Thala Ajith dissolving his fan club, as the mob supported a particular political party, under his name. Keeping this action in mind and also with due respect to their hero, Vijay fans are keeping their words metered.

Shah Rukh wants to Meet Vijay :
Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan was recently in Chennai promoting his Diwali release Happy New Year. The 8 packed star in an interview was quizzed if he is still in touch with Vijay whom he met at two consecutive award functions. SRK said "I do. I would love to meet Vijay and have a chat with him".
SRK went on add that (Kollywood actors) "They (Tamil actors) are all very warm towards me and treat me like I am some special guest. I am lucky to know senior actors Rajini and Kamal sirs and learn from their work.”

Fans to inaugurate a statue for Ilayathalapathy Vijay!

While statues for political leaders and freedom fighters have been making headlines across the length and breadth of the country, here is the latest fad where fans of Vijay have joined hands to install a statue for their icon in the city outskirts. The statue, reportedly constructed with a cost of over 1 lakh, will be inaugurated by fans around 11 am in the premises of Vetri theater, Chrompet.
As Kaththi is busy breaking box-office records on one end, fans are showcasing their love for the actor in a limitless manner on the other end. The statue has Vijay in his Vishwa Bhai get-up from Thalaivaa, a film which ran into political turmoil and eventually got delayed in Tamil Nadu to release. Vijay has also opened up in an award function about how closeThalaivaa is to his heart. And, this decision to choose this particular makeover is a fitting gesture from fans.

இதே இடத்தில்தான் கமல்ஹாசன் நடித்த 'தசாவதாரம்' படத்தின் கோவில் செட் போடப்பட்டு படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. விஜய், ஸ்ருதிஹாசன், ஸ்ரீதேவி, ஹன்சிகா, மற்றும் பலர் நடிக்கவிருக்கும் இந்த படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு அடுத்த மாதம் முதல் தொடங்குகிறது.

இம்சை அரசன் 23ஆம் புலிகேசி, இரும்புக்கோட்டை முரட்டு சிங்கம் ஆகிய சரித்திர பின்னணி கொண்ட படங்களை இயக்கிய சிம்புதேவன், இந்த படத்திலும் அதே சரித்திர பின்னணி கொண்ட திரைக்கதையை தேர்வு செய்துள்ளார். தேவிஸ்ரீ பிரசாத் இசையமைக்கும் இந்த படத்திற்கு 'சதுரங்க வேட்டை' நட்டி நட்ராஜ் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்யவுள்ளார். பெரும் பொருட்செலவில் இந்த படத்தை பி.டி.செல்வகுமார் தயாரிக்கின்றார். இந்த திரைப்படம் 'கத்தி'யின் வசூல் சாதனையை முறியடிக்குமா? என்பதை பொறுத்திருந்துதான் பார்க்க வேண்டும்

hmmm....I might be cent percent wrong to comment...But it was a general opinion as I was thinking...otherwise why would one want to get irritated.
