And I was mildly annoyed by the fact that it received so much attention which I don't remember the 7KM album getting.
My inability to articulate why 7KM was way better did not help. It only heightened the frustration and thus my kaduppu was duly channeled at Rockstar :lol:

Faya Kun was divine. Beautifully sung by Rahman. Loved Nadan Parindey also. Sheher mien and Hawa were catchy but don't quite sound the same today. Anyway, to me, this album never hits a high that Masakkali, Rehna Tu or Dil Gira do
In fact, I know that Rockstar itself may be a slightly misleading title but IMO DevD was a better album - rock, angst and otherwise

AFAIK,majority of tamil movies never get released on DVD which is a shame.There are so many recent movies which I want to watch but never get a chance.Heard and posted in some other thread that TV channels who buy the DVD rights also are the culprits,never release them so that repeat telecasts on their channels get an audience.
Somebody should stand up,deny them the rights and sell it to a professional company even if it is for a lower rate.Ultimately they will end up making the same money from royalty.
