Lingaa - A worldwide platform with maximum reach

The worldwide release rights of the Superstar starrer and the K S Ravikumar directorial Lingaa have been acquired by Eros International. The film has Anushka and Sonakshi as the women leads and is complemented by a very talented supporting cast. Rathnavelu handles camera, A R Rahman takes care of music and Sabu Cyril has done the art designs.

On acquiring the rights of the film, Sunil Lulla, Managing director of Eros International says, “We are delighted to present and release worldwide Superstar Rajinikanth’s much anticipated film Lingaa. Audiences across the globe keenly await his first live action film after the blockbuster Robot”

Producer Rockline Venkatesh adds, “We are very pleased to associate with a leading studio like Eros to present a prestigious project like Lingaa starring superstar Rajinikanth. With their global positioning, we hope to present the film on a worldwide platform with maximum reach”.

The audio launch of the Tamil and Telugu versions is said to happen on the 16th of November at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai along with the trailer launch in all three languages viz. Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The Hindi version's music would be released soon after. The music rights of the film also have been acquired by Eros Music.

Heard that there is an agreement with Eros and Rajini for 3 movies starting with Kochadaiyaan. Total cost for all 3 movies was fixed as well. If these sites want to prove that they have some exclusive news let them investigate and confirm that cost. Cost may be higher when compared to any other southern star's movie, but the build up these sites give for all the stars is same...

I some how did not like the BGM of the trailer, that "linga" bit sounds awkward, till date IMHO Baba rap has been the best one!

Lingaa is in the row of Kaththi!! A person named Ravirathnam has filed the case in madurai high court to stop Rajinikanth Lingaa release .........:fatigue:

Another bogus ... Ethae vellaia pochi. How does this gentleman know the story of Linga ? Did KSR tell him ? As of now Linga story = Kaththi = mullai-vanam. Get a quick out of court settlement and move on if thats your intention!

Madras high court moved to stop release of Rajinikanth's Lingaa movie

MADURAI: A writ petition has been filed in the Madurai bench of the Madras high court seeking a stay on Superstar Rajinikanth's movie "Lingaa."

In his petition, filmmaker Ravi Rathinam alleged that the storyline of "Lingaa" was same as that of his 2013 movie "Mullai Vanam 999."

Hence the petitioner wanted the court's direction to stop the release of the Rajinikanth-starrer.

"Lingaa," directed by K S Ravikumar, is scheduled to be released on December 12.

These things have become quite common these days, these issues are usually created but "not so famous dundaunakkas", hoping that they can become famous by creating such issues!

We should appreciate that guy for believing that there will be story in Rajini's film.
