Joe, no value for karuthu in India as the practical problems are much bigger. So people don't bother abt anything unless otherwise it affetcs them dirtectly. So it only affects people who do karuthu sollifying as business. And not everyone well informed abt everything.

Aajeedh is the clear winner. Vijay TV crew would have not been able to get out of Nehru stadium had he not won the award. He brought down the whole stadium down to their knees. The boy's performance was awesome ! His Aaromalae in the wild card and Vanthae Maatharam and Kanneerae Kannerae (both AR sung songs) are more than enough. I have never seen anyone singing kaNNeerae kaNNeerae song in any competition as it is one of the most difficult songs that shifts between almost the extreme low and high notes through out the song and he was hitting both notes so perfectly. Such a tough number by a 10 year old, to near perfection proves his talent. And vanthae maatharam, I have not see anybody delivering such a performance after AR Rahman. He is the most deserving winner. And as AR said a 'born superstar'. The right decision by Vijay TV, probably for the first time.

Pragathi was good too but she I heard has already passed the age limit to qualify as Junior. Besides she is a back door entrant who landed suddenly from nowhere into the show after they have chosen the top 20. The first song she performed gave a feel of December season 'karnaadaga sangeetha kachaeri' (it tested the patience) and her 2nd song has been beaten to death in many competitions and has been performed equally well by others who have attempted. Ajeedh hit the nail strong with his choices of song, excellent singing and a great style and attitude. He is a natural. Definitely has a bright future.

PS: While all singers dedicated their performances to their mothers/parents, he dedicated it to AR. Adhu inga sila paerukku vayitherichala koduthirukkum. That cannot be helped ;)

IMO there is no striking performances like prevoius SSJ final Singara velane. ARR vanthaargurathaala final-la ARR round konjam idikkuthu though ARR deserved it

He is mass plus class. Hariharan said that people try to sing on the note but he tries to get inside the notes. He is technically strong as well. And it's too good for a 10 year old. I was not watching this season until I happened to watch one of his performances of an old PBS song. It was so perfect and got me hooked to the program.

And generally in the 2nd round contestants mostly chose AR songs even when AR was not present. In senior 3 - Sathya Prakash sang O mana peNNae, Sai sang mazhai thuLi, Santhosh - Aaromale and pooja - gala galavena (all AR songs). And in super singer junior 2, for the 2nd round Alka sang - munbae vaa, Roshan - oru poyyaavathu sol, Nithyashree - maiyya maiyya and Sharavan - uyirum neeyae. It's nothing new at all.

Yeah.. I remember there were many ARR songs in the last final too.. However, just because ARR was the guest, Vijay TV shouldn't have forced the contestants to sing an ARR number - assuming they did. I don't think he would've had any issues with numbers composed by others.

Vijay TV would have insisted but I think even the contestants would have preferred going for AR songs as he was the chief guest. And in any case Aajeedh would have gone for AR song for both rounds. Vanthae maatharam was a complete surprise. Never expected.

ஆச்சர்யமாக இருக்கிறது. ஸ்ரிகாந்துக்கு ஒரு நிலை. ஆஜித்துக்கு ஒரு நிலை.

மக்கள் ஓட்டு போட்டார்கள் என்ற காரணத்திற்க்காக ஆஜித்திற்கு முதல் இடம்.தொடக்கத்தில் இருந்தே ஆஜித்தை விட ஜட்ஜ்களிடம் பாரட்டுகள் பெற்ற பிரகதிக்கு இரண்டாம் இடம்.

Totally agree. He erred while singing the first line and from then his parents were reacting as such. Agreed that they would be disappointed after an year of hard work. But sitting like this in front of the contestant son, who had not even completed his song was plain stupidity. The boy's confidence would've taken a beating.

AR came only after the 1st round of singing. I liked the finishing of kaNNeerae kaNNeerae - in the original it finishes with lower scale but he modulated it and finished it on a high note and it had a great impact at the end. And the orchestra gave a different flavour with some modification to the original. That too sounded good and went perfectly well with the situation.

I guess they where not expecting title et all but avlo periya stage la sothappaama paadinaale pothum, kind. Antha reaction avoid pannirukkalaam thaan, but nothng wrong too! Sila murai, konjam natural aave irukkalaam thappilla, romba control pannaalum deliberate aa nallaa theriyum athu innum mosamaa irukkum!

Ennai kettaa, over confidence oda iruntha, pesina parents thaan treatment kku deserved. For ex, one mom who said in the right beginning og start of this series, "Matha winners pathi enakku theriyaathu, aanaa inime varum ellorum, ___ai vida nallaa paadanumnu thaan target set pannikkanumnu aasaipadren" Well the over enthu was well visible right from the 1st day till the end, even after that singer didn't win title.

Ma'am, enna thaan irunthaalum paattu thaan paadireenga. Erkanave oruthar paadi bench mark set pannina vishayam. Athai vida exceed panna mudiyaathu, above all, there will be non stop parade of singers who will exceed in all ways. Appuran unga veettu singer kku enna peculiarity irukka poguthu?!? Adakkamum thevai!
