NOW the battleground is level (without Andhra) and it is NOW that the BO needs to be compared. It is seriously ludicrous, the Andhra angle.

When there was so much happening right from day 1 to decide the winner based on reviews from amateur writers, ratings from Twitter residents and Chennai BO numbers from Behindwoods, why suddenly slow down and Wait?

It should be NOW, that the numbers have to be validated and compared.

Back to the ‘Ulloor Parrupu’ section,

Except for Chennai BO numbers from Behindwoods (whose numbers are disputable), all other numbers are from organized markets and reliable sources are in favor of Jilla.

Even if Behindwoods have to be trusted and included in overall calculations, the all-India numbers from Behindwoods point to a ‘3’ Crore difference in favor of Jilla. The 3-day numbers from CinemaLead pointed to a ‘4’ Crore difference Worldwide and now Behindwoods ‘3’ crore India difference is for 4 days.

The ‘Ulloor Parrupu’ looks well-cooked to me.

Knowing the fond for Behindwoods numbers out here in our Hub, please find attached the comparative numbers based on BW numbers and other outside sources NOW.

Ayangaran and Boss Siva

I see a certain Ayngaran comparative chart attached atleast once in every page of a particular thread. Ayngaran is a distributor for both the movies and was being ridiculed for favoring Jilla and taking Vijay's side. Ayangaran has presented (or we may never know) some numbers in an unconfirmed/not verified Facebook page of theirs. If their views from their unofficial Facebook page, as distributors and as Vijay's right hand have to be taken seriously then the comments from Boss Siva who is also a distributor needs to be taken serious too. He seems to suggest Jilla is sustaining-big in his areas in TN ahead of any other Pongal release. Both have the same level of reliability.

JILLA, despite attempts to create an ‘Aalwar’ out of it is leading the first-week battle. Forget Mission Aalwar. It is done and dusted now. At best, it could be a Dheena-Friends verdict where both movies end up being commercially successful. But if you insist on a ‘Winner’ here, the first week clearly belongs to JILLA, which kind of puts the ‘KING OF OPENING’ tag into perspective.

Vijay's Jilla is ruling the UK box office and the first three days gross collections of the film is said to be collected152,552 £ ( 1.54 crores)which is very much higher than Vijay's all time best Thuppakki which collected134,280 £in its first weekend.
With Jilla collecting 1.54 crores, it holds the #3 position at the all time third biggest opener in UK. Jilla stands next to Super Star Rajinikanth's Endhiran and Sivaji.
TOP THREE ALL TIME BIGGEST OPENING IN UK:
Endhiran - 277,918 £ ( 43 screens)
Sivaji - 168,603 £ ( 12 screens)
Jilla - 152,552 £ ( 43 screens)
Note:Jilla is the only film to cross 150K £ at UK box office after Sivaji and Endhiran.
