Sakala was talking about Chennai theatre distribution I guess. Imagine this - Abirami cinemas opened first and thoongavanam was sold out immediately. Thoongaavanam was allotted only 20% of the shows and it would have been sold out if had been 20% more number of shows. Same is the case with major theatres within Chennai. In Devi/Udhayam/Abirami etc, where the tickets are sold out for both movies very quickly, why such disproportion? We know Vedalam had an advantage from the distribution point of view! nothing to take away from Ajith!Quote:

Fact? Haha. There has always been handy works to pull down Ajith and his films. This has been going on for a long time. The suspect has been a close friend to Kamal in the recent past(out of the blue). I icant magine how much of a been done to sabotage Vedalam but still nobody is stupid to screen a film that is more in demand. Just check mayajal shows and the bookings. Nobody can stop people from booking tickets.
