Thanks Madhu Sreefor your nice post.
How is weather in India now? I am sure you are cooking lots of dishes now.
Post to us pictures, when you cook a new dish.
Yes, Madhu Sree, I too love mushrooms. Here in Malaysia fresh button mushroom are very expensive:(
Thanks and take care, Kugan
Thanks NOV anneh for your post and compliments.
The batter for the crispier version is also the same.
Just pour little batter to the pan, swirl pan so that the batter is coating the edge.
cook till the bottom of the apom is golden brown.
sprinkle with melted bitter and then chopped peanuts.
Fold the pancake into a half and leave to cool.
It will be crispy as soon as it gets cold.
Yes anna, too many kuihs now, but you know most of them have eggs in them.
So I make different every two days or so to satisfy my children.
Thanks and take care, Kugan

why is this kitchen so quiet?
here is an easy and quick recipe, using the microwave:
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-IMHWwGTS2u...ot%2BHalwa.jpg
Grate two cups of carrot and add two tablespoons of ghee. Microwave for two mins. Add half cup evaporated milk to this and microwave for eight mins, stirring every now and then. Cook till milk is absorbed and the ghee starts separating. Add one cup (or less, if you prefer) sugar and some cardomon powder, together with almond slice. Microwave for a further one minute or so, until you get right consistency. Your carrot halwa is now ready!
