Rocking 10th Day!
Irrespective of Thuppakki's final numbers w.r.t. BO, one think is very clear. Thuppakki will surely break into top 3 in the all-time list with only Superstar and Ulaganayagan movies above Thuppakki.
I remember what Director Shankar said during Nanban's audio release "Everyone likes Vijay, after Nanban even people who don't like him will start liking him". Thuppakki has once again proven that when Vijay join hands with a good director, the result is massive. I really hope that Vijay learns a lesson or two in this.
Specifically for these reasons,I would like Vijay not to miss Ameer's project because I believe even if it is an experimental flick with Vijay on board, it will have far greater commercial value than other experimental movies. Vijay shouldn't miss this.
Same can be said about Gautham Menon. Notwithstanding his excellent 'time management' skills, Gautham Menon has a happy knack of delivering good commercial movies. If Gautham Menon and Vijay, join hands again the potential will be just huge. Hope this happens as well.
One doubt in Gun.
During the 12 sleeper cell assassination (before Vijay and his team follow the terrorist leader (right after marriage scene) who escapes from Vijay's house) logically, the terrorist could kill his family (or at least one of his family members) before escaping and re-grouping with the other sleeper cells?
#Thuppakki - 1st week (Nov 13 to 19) Kerala gross Rs 4.65 Cr (Approx). Share Rs 2.16 Cr- Fantastic. Well done Shibu (dis) 4 wide release!
*) he is not a leader..... he is one among the sleeper cells
*)his first priority is to escape and carry out the planned attacks on that day
*)He would have regained conscience only then...... he doesn't even know whether Vijay is in the house ..... So he would not attempt to attack his family (because he can assume that Vijay is there in the house and he could get caught again)
*)He doesn't have any arms
Sleeper cells only operate on the orders of their commanders. They are not supposed to take decisions on their own.
