Vijay 360º - #Jilla has just reached the 100 Crore mark. :2thumbsup: Though it's not about the Film's net collection. But counting the overall business including satellite rights, music rights, distribution rights etc. :clap:

Drishyam is an excellent movie that's raking the moolah still in Kerala & overseas even weeks after it had been released. Lets take into account that also besides his influence and such things... There's no point in arguing much with Drishyam & other 2 movies.

'Bharat' Mohanlal as he's called in Kerala is an actor par-excellence. Mammotty and Mohanlal have ruled/continue to rule the Malayalam film industry and have been around 3 decades now with a huge fan following. Its not surprising at all that he outsmarted both these movies with his Drishyam. That said, Jilla would still have done well w/o Mohanlal but with a slightly lesser margin since Vijay himself has a good following to boast in Kerala.

I believe Vikram has expressed interest in remaking Drishyam in Tamil .. we'll see.
