Booked tickets for KATHTHI at PVR bangalore orion mall........ I am sure movie will release in TN without LYCA.
Our only request is that the Lyca company's name should be removed. Though Ayngaran have accepted to remove, Lyca have not agreed to do the same. Hence our protests will continue.
Abirami Ramanathan the head of Chennai Theatres Association and Tamil Nadu film theatres association head Panneerselvam have stated that " Unless we get the green light from the you the film won't release, since theatres safety is a must."
FEFSI Siva has also assured us that "Hereafter they won't work for films under Lyca productions". Let them release under a different banner concluded Velmurugan.
So Thalaivaa-2 gonna happen..Release everywhere except TN..If Lyca is adamant/ego or not willing to back off, then the movie is never going to get released in TN..
Lyca will be ok with the overseas release on 22nd & move on..

The Tamil Nadu release of Kaththi has been officially reiterated and confirmed for the 22nd of October. This is indeed a great news for the countless fans of Vijay and all cinema lovers, who have been an anxious lot over the past day or so due to the political controversies surrounding the movie.
This is what the official press statement reads like
We are happy to announce that all the issues have been solved amicably. Kaththi is releasing globally as a DEEPAVALI Dhamaka.
