green chillies - 3 or 4 based on the spicyness
Method:
Soak Rice in water, then drain the water and keep it aside for abt 15 mins.
Heat oil in a big vessel(the size of the vessel should be enuff to cook rice),
Put cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, bay leaves, leave it till it turns color.
Now add onion, green chillies, saute well till it turns color. Add peas, salt, pepper jeera powder and mix well. Add zuccini shreds, give a good mix.
Now, add the soaked and drained rice, mix well for abt 5 mins. Add 4 cups of water.
Keep in high heat for abt 10 mins, then reduce to medium flame and let it cook for abt 10 mins or till the rice is cooked.
Thats it!!!!! Zucchini pulao is ready. Enjoy with some good gravy. I prepared Mushroom gravy. I didnt feel like adding ginger garlic, next time I ll try to do that with this. I have in mind to grind onion and chilli. Let us see how that will turn out.
