K.S.Ravikumar: My first Hindi film would have been with Kamal Haasan
South's ace filmmaker K.S.Ravikumar makes his big Bollywood entry with 'Policegiri', the remake of Tamil film 'Saamy'. With Sanjay Dutt playing the lead (played by Vikram in original), the film is touted to be the most awaited action entertainer this year.
Going with the fact, the man who gave Kamal Haasan his landmark movie 'Avvai Shanmugi' ('Chachi 420' in Hindi) and Rajinikanth a worldwide star status with 'Muthu', it is a wonder how come such filmmaker as K.S.Ravikumar is making his Hindi debut so late. Ask about this the director is candid in saying, "I can't say anything because it all happens because of God's wish." Referring to his Bollywood directorial debut 'Policegiri', Ravikumar stated, "I won't say it's a good launch for me, because I was supposed to have directed long back. But couldn't do it because then I was busy with south film. It was Kamal Haasan who first suggested me (to direct Hindi film). I did 'Avvai Shanmugi' with him, my first film with Kamalji, and he wanted to remake it in Hindi. But I couldn't do it since I was busy with Rajinikanth's film."

KuRumbar, vELir and other ancient tribes of thamizh naadu - who were sought to be marginalised by the increasingly Vedism following Kings - rebelled against the injust Varna religion which was imposed upon the thamizh country and the Life and Social setup. They used and embraced the then - stridently antii-vedic religions of Jainism (samaNam) and Budhism to fight vedic villains. This is the correct interpretation of the end of Latter Sangam era.
kOchadaiyaan aka nedunchadaiyaan - a latter 6th Century CE pandiyan King was the one who - again gave a refreshing re-birth to the Varna vedic pArpana society in thamizhnaadu - by reclaiming the lands from the common pool of agriocultural lands owned by all the people and giving them as "சதுர் வேதி மங்கலம்" lands which were given as a Free gift to the pArpanars for their "divine" qualities!
Thamizh country was never completely conquered and there in lies the tragedy of the Aryan lies! ;)

Kamal Haasan joined the ranks of the few celebrities in India to have a verified account on FB. Kamal's account, that recently touched about 6 lakhs fans, is a prolific one that gives periodic updates about Kamal's whereabouts and activities. The verification is an authentication provided by Facebook to endorse that an account of a celebrity is indeed original.
Of the other South Indian stars whose accounts are verified by FB, Mohanlal is prominent. It must be noted that Kamal's account is maintained by Mayyam, managers of his online presence.
A few weeks back, there were rumors that Kamal Haasan had joined Twitter and 'netizens' were mighty excited and were following this account at a record pace. But soon enough it turned out to be a fake poser and this account was quickly taken out.
