இனப்படுகொலை செய்த காங்கிரஸ் அரசின் விருதை "இந்திய தேசியத்தின்" விருதாகப் பார்க்கும் கமலுக்கு -அந்தச் சுயமரியாதை இல்லாது போனது - ஆச்சரியம் அளிக்கவில்லை.
எந்தக் கேள்வியும் கேட்காத, கேட்க மறுக்கும், இந்திய தேசியப் பூசாரிகள் - உண்மையில் பார்ப்பனியர்கள்தாம்; பூணூலைக் கழட்டிவிட்டால், சுயமரியாதைக்காரனாகி விட முடியாது.
இந்திய தேசியம் தமிழினப் படுகொலை செய்தது என்று முதலைக் கண்ணீர் வடித்துவிட்டு, பிறகு இந்திய தேசியத்தை மண்டியிட்டும் தொழுவேன் - என்பது பச்சை அயோக்கியத்தனம்.
இதை செய்கிற கமல், தமிழ் நடிகர் சங்கம் அமைவதை எதிர்த்து இனி பேசினால் - விளைவுகள் கடுமையாக இருக்கும்.

We had reported yesterday that Kamal Haasan is a proud recipient of the Padma Bhushan award. The actor had organised a press meet today, which is happening at his residence at the moment (26th January, 1:00 PM), to express his gratitude on the same.
Here are a few snippets on what Kamal Haasan is speaking about, in the press meet.
"I would like to dedicate this award to my Gurus, family and my fans. There are many unsung heroes in our country and a lot of talents have missed out on honours like this. I am glad that my work is recognised.
My search for excellence will never end. It's more like hunger for me. The world is always changing and my journey will never stop."
Kamal was apparently queried if he would write an autobiography for which he replied saying that he would not, as there would be a lot of truth in it, which may pain many, and he does not want to lie.
"Honours and Bronx cheers will not affect me," he says. "I was the same last year and I will remain the same forever."
The actor also gave us a quick update on Vishwaroopam 2. The CG works are on for the movie. He will announce its release date soon.

Thinking of watching Drishyam when I get a chance. Lal's just amazing and I've watched a few of his Malayalam hits. One of those was the original 'Kreedom' that Ajit remade. He was simply awesome ... Very few can do justice remaking Lal's classics and Kamal's is right on par!Quote:

All the lines quoted above are from his movies. I dont know why movie dialogues should be taken so seriously. He is just an actor, a professional who has been doing his job well. No one expects him to get involved in politics or raise his voice against his country. Simply showing terrorists as terrorists has made him suffer a lot. And now we blame him for enjoying the fruits of his labour?
If you feel he must have rejected the award, its just your opinion. IMO he deserves much more national and international recognition. For a man who does international business, every award he gets will help increasing his global reach.
