Sure.. Seems this song is reflecting what Lambretta machaan is thinking about ! Just kidding.
Yesterday, I watched this movie. This one is a lovely song.
I am poor at translating a tamil song into its english version. May be someone like Jana could help you..

If i dry out in winter
Is your gaze my blanket ?
I am warming up without hugging
I am resting on your lap for that
Is my lap your beaded swing (oonjal)
Its you.. Only you from now..

Wow, the lyrics sound really wonderful, now tat I know wat they mean.....!
Um..one thing tho (altho am certainly not an expert! :P), cud it be tat "kuLir kaaygiren" may mean more like withstanding cold (ie, kulur thangarthu...?)
Also, "nee dhaan ini naan dhaan"......its u only, from now on its me (naan) only.....? 'didnt get this.....
Or cud it mean more like: from now on, its only u & me.....?
OK, me waiting for an expert opinion too now!

"Kulir Kayaarathu" = something like camp fire.. To warm up people burn wood and get the heat from it.. I dont remember the exact word for it.. so i have put it as warming up... Some experts clarify this ...

nee than ini naan than - Yep it means "From now, its only you and me.."

(I've read it as nee thaan ini nee thaan )
