    This, I think, is Ilaiyaraja's first Hindi film song... from Balu Mahendra's SADMA (1983),
    the remake of MOONRAAM PIRAI. Here is Suresh Wadkar singing "ye zindagi gale laga le..."

    Raja used this tune in the 1984 Tamil movie THAMBIKKU ENTHA OORU, with SPB singing for Rajni...

    By the way, the song used in MOONRAAM PIRAI for the same situation was "poongaatru...":

    Let Us Dance - Rock and Roll

    The academic year is coming to an end and there will be celebrations ! It is fitting to listen to a popular song of the 50s!

    From Howrah Bridge(1958):

    Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu......

    A Tamil song from Anbu Engey in a similar tune:

    Mele Parakkum Rocket-u......

    " I think there is a world market for may be five computers". IBM Chairman Thomas Watson in 1943.
