Dr. P. Susheela Award, instituted last year by our Melody Queen, will be bestowed on Sri. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam this year. A glittering function will be held on November 14, 2009 at Chennai wherein Sri. M.S. Viswanathan, Sri. Ilayaraja, Sri Vairamuthu, Sri P.B. Srinivas, Smt. Janaki , Jamunarani, Smt. Vani Jayram, Smt S.P. Shailaja and others are to participate. Smt. Suhasini is to compere the event.

This event is also to collect funds for Andhra flood relief and to be held at Chennai.
