Federer's already on to number four with David Ferrer, the last year's finalist losing today. Will be interesting to see if Federer can actually get himself to the final let alone win it. Federer vs Nadal in the final would be cool. Sort of a commemoration for a 10 year old rivalry right at the place where it all began in 2004.

Though it sounds nice, all it would mean is yet another easy Masters 1000 title for Rafa that too the one he has never won!!
Want to see Novak vs Rafa Final with both atleast close to their best (you never know with Rafa, if & when he loses though!!)
Conditions will favor Rafa and it is a mystery as to how he has not won this one already.... (Davydenko)

^^^ Bounce is a bit lower in Miami compared to Indian Wells. That's probably the reason. Having said that, he won Cincinnati last year, which still plays much more like a real hard court.

While I don't fancy Federer's chances, I believe he can put up a good fight against Nadal. He has come back stronger. The backhand is still vulnerable but has definitely improved when compared to last years, he's got his serve back and has been returning much better as well. So why not? I don't care if Nadal's wins the tourney. All I want is some good tennis.
