It sort of seems like ppl seem to be going behind Cash more so than what satisfies them. Which is horrible, because as important as money is, getting up every morning and doing something u love is far mroe important.

True, I would do what I would love to do, from morning to evening, but what happens when I am hungry? Once my hunger is satisfied, I have other needs, and then it goes on and on.. so naturally I would look for a career to satisfy my "greed".. not to satisfy my love of doing something..

.Career Selection MADNESS.?
Immediately after Independance in India... during 1947, the first Prime Minister Mr Nehru... formulated Schemes to develop Agricuture fast, for which he planned huge Irrigation-Dams... alongside large scale Industries like Bhilai, Rourkela, Hindustan Aeronautics, Hindustan Shipyard, Hindustan Machine tools etc...
..for which he felt that the imediate demand was for Mass scale Civil-Engineers.
So several Technical Insititutions were started anew and admitted maximum students for Civil-Engineers, compared to other courses in Engineering & Technology as well as other Professions.
For the first time in the Indian History... the students had the Campus Interview even before the Final Exams...
... and received their Appointment orders in Govt. jobs.. immediately on completion of Exams, and prior to getting a pass.
Such an unusual attraction caused a Madness amongst the Youth then.. and so they used to rush for admission to Civil-Engineering only....
...during 1947 to 1950... Yes only THREE YEARS.!!
Then for the next batches... it became miserable... No Vacancy for Civil-Engineers... On completion of studies, they used to run from pillar to posts... all over India...
...while the demand then became more for Mechanical Engineers.
Besides many Employers and Civil-Engineers themselves as well... felt...
...that the most of the Engineers were the MISFITS... could not have Job-satisfaction nor the apt approach as demanded by the typical profession, especially the Field-Engineers.
...but it was too late... to change the Profession.
Then the students realised how they have chosen their career... without any consideration ...
...for the due APTITUDE AND ATTIDUDE for the Carreer..
Now we notice in India... the similar Blind craze for Medical and Computer-Software studies.
How far it will be sound for their Long future?
Is it not BLIND MADNESS..?

Blind madness occurs sometimes due to parental and social pressures too
