Pammalar sir,
Thanks a lot for the wonderful newspaper advertisements of 'PAASA MALAR' Golden Jubilee rememberance. They are very nice and clear. Producing such records in proper time is much more appreciable.
Also, thanks for your detailed review about the function held at Russian Cultural Centre. Our Raghavendar sir's role in that function is a commandable one, and no doubt it must be the centre of attaraction in that function.
Murali sir,
Thanks for breif explanation about the happenings in the function, when the clipping of NT have been screened. We can proudly say, no other actors have such kind of patriotic songs and sequences except our one and only NT.

Parthasarathy sir,
Wonderful analysis about 'pon onRu kandEn' song from 'PadithAl mattum pOthumA'. You have described each and every nuances of the song, with your special touches.
This is also one of the 'saagaavaram petra' songs in Tamil cinema, and is being telecasted everyday in any of the TV channels, and also one among the special songs choosen by cine VIP's when they are giving 'special thEnkinnam' etc.
You have analysed the stylish action of NT (and ofcourse Balaji too) especially for the line 'vinnOdu viLaiyAdum peN andha peNNallavO'. No doubt this song captured the first place among male duets in Tamil cinema.
Thanks again, and please continue............

Caught a NT movie in Win TV in parts over the weekend - NT plays a simpleton whose athai poNNu is Devika(so obviously I was hooked into catching the movie all the more) whose mother is in cahoots with Jamindar Asokan to get Devika married off to Asokan. Meanwhile, Asokan's brother falls in love with NT's sister and it is a simple tale progressing sedately to a subam climax. Just loved NT's performance - I havent seen this movie before so it was a nice treat. Nothing much to write about the movie but just goes to show how NT can make the most ordinary of the movies extremely watchable and the channel unflippable when he is on.

In fact, Navarathiri and Muradan Muthu (MM) were released together. MM was not a great hit as compared to Navarathiri for reasons best known to all. It was a B.R.Panthulu movie (Padmini Pictures). NT and Panthulu got separated due to this movie only, as BRP wanted NT to release MM as his 100th movie, which he rightly refused. NT also rightly gave this one liner "Nanbargal pirindhanar" for this movie, which authenticated this info. NT was as usual brilliant as rustic village simpleton and as usual, his chemistry with Devika worked well - especially, "Thamaraippo kolaththilae" song. Also, unlike Panthulu's earlier movies, he took a major role himself, which proved to be the weak link.
As for Prayers for Super Star - Yes, let us all pray for his well being and speedy recovery.
Regards,
R. Parthasarathy

Actually scenes with Bandhulu would be the highlight for me. Bristling with tension, so much of love for each other but they are so different. Also, NT vs VKR
