I did use it with Ipod before...now it supports most of the current portable players..from what I have heard Sansa clip/plus is the best when flashed with rockbox.

I have a 1 TB My Book and it is going good (touchwood). I had to remove the firmware as it doesn't allow you to use it plug and play with media players. You need to install something called smartware through which you can access the contents.
I heard failure stories about Seagate too, so preferred this.

Scored a 10" ASUS EEE Pad Transformer 16GB at Best Buy today for $299.99. Not the best of deals but $100 < the regular price. This is going to my brother

Nerd, looks like its raining tablets for you! This deal price is worth and much better than buying two Acer Iconia tablets. This one has much better battery and few other performance.
This tablet will be much more great with its accessory 'detachable keypad'

I guess the price of this one will go down further since prime (quadcore) will release in a month or so. Based on the reviews I have read so far - this ASUS beats most.
