Imagining this same Trailer with actual BGM/Dialogues and appropriate sounds would make it look more normal and sometimes even extravanganza.
The idea to have a lighter sound for energetic visuals is great, worked best with 'Madras' movie trailer. Here, music is not dancing with the scenes, thus, both resulting to be abstract. Recently I was looking at "Dead Snow 2: Red vs Dead", a Norwegian Zombie Sequel trailer, a film to be screened at 2014 Fantastic Fest. The trailer Rated R, for sure, has some raw, brutal, gory Zombie action well supported by "French CanCan" musical piece. Bizzare but attractive, looked like the killings and spillings were choreographed for this instrumental.
Coming to Vanmam, the trailer, on the whole, certainly looks less energetic with a dull song, maybe an experimental attempt but certainly shows a bit what it has to offer. I wish the team success.
