Partha, good to read your posts covering other languages and the comparisons.
The above movie should read kalisi uNtE kaladha sukamu. It means koodi vAzhndhAl kOdi nanmai.
In passing, may I mention that deiva magan was remade in Telugu - and to keep with the gentlemanly traditions of this thread, I will merely state that the "Actor" attempting it in Telugu was Krishna. No further comments.
Dear Plum,
Thanks for your immediate response and for correction. It's as usual, typing mistake. It's not only Deiva Magan, even Thirisoolam (both triple roles) was remade in Telugu by Mr. Krishna only. In fact, as you know, Mr. Krishna was a very close friend and well wisher of our NT and he also produced a few movies with NT in the lead. He also acted with him in some original Telugu movies, including Nivuru Kappina Nippu. I got these details as some of my cousins are born and brought up in Andhra only and I also used to visit Nellore/Hyderabad during my school days for summer holidays.
As I have reserved Deiva Magan for my ultimate presentation, for strategic reasons, have not included the same in this article.
Thanks once again,
Parthasarathy
