Yeah.... In fact, Malan was a Master in that area (Gandhi assassination plot) when KH was still a student. Malan's "Jana Gana Mana" was out at least 7-8 years before the release of Hey Ram and it dealt extensively abt the lives of Nathuram Godse, Narayan Apte and briefly abt other three (Gopal Godse, Vishnu Karkare and Madanlal Pahwa) and the circumstances that led them into assassinating Gandhi. I am sure Kamal would have definitely read Malan's work while writing the screenplay for Hey Ram (as there was practically nothing else available in Tamil back then, based on Gandhi's assasination). I am sure Malan would have translated it from some Hindi/English source, but his work was simple, engaging and informative...

Venki, unfortunately i don't have any reviews of HeyRaam except Nakkeeran's one. But i have a 3 week long interview of kamal about hey raam which came in kumgumam, apart from his intervews during hey raam, from Vikatan, Kumudam, Kalki, and one more magazine called ViN Naayagan.

Actually i vaguely remember i have them but i lost part of my interview collections when changing homes What is left is the ones i am posting recently

I had a lingering doubt all these years.... One of my juniors during my Postgrad days was from Delhi and his name was D.H. Pahwa. One day I casually asked him if he knew somebody called Madanlal Pahwa, and he told "Yeah, It is my grandfather's name"......surprised, I asked him whether it was the same Madanlal Pahwa who was involved in Gandhi assasination, but he had no idea that such a person ever existed (like everybody else)....Somehow I had a faint doubt that his grandfather and the family, had carefully hidden it from the younger generation their involvement in the Gandhi assassination, till I read this article today

As SS Music earlier reported , Official sources revealed 'Vishwaroopam 2' might not be the next release of Kamal Haasan he instead would focus on another Aascar Ravi Chandran Production and then release Vishwaroopam 2 , Now the latest buzz is that. for this movie Kamal Haasan has roped in a galaxy of stars ranging from Mohan lal , Ravi Teja , Rishi Kapoor and Trisha. This movie is set to be released in Tamil , Telugu and Hindi ,the story of movie is reported to be based on the acts of corruption in our country.
