    Theatre owners queue up for Vijay's Thalaivaa in advance

    Banking on the frenzy and positive feedback risen through the music and trailer of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Thalaivaa, the theatre bookings have commenced already, nearly a month in advance. The film is expected to release in the month of August and theatre owners have supposedly been queuing up to showcase the film as they believe Vijay’s success streak is set to continue.

    With the kind of hype and anticipation circling the project, this premature move by theatre owners is being seen as a sign of things to come as Thalaivaa is likely to produce one of Vijay’s biggest openings till date. The telecast rights of the film have been sold to Sun TV for an undisclosed sum. An official announcement from the team on the exact release date is awaited.
