Vishwaroop 2 is not my arrogance, it's confidence: Kamal Haasan

Ulaga Nayagan is all set to bring the sequel to Vishwaroopam and the veteran actor-director says he is confident that the second part will be successful.

"I don't make film for publicity rather I want my film to be enjoyed by my audience. Generally, people wait for a year and then decide a film's sequel. But, I was sure from the beginning that I will bring the second part too. Vishwaroopam 2 is not my arrogance rather it is my confidence," Kamal sir told PTI on the sidelines of IIFA awards.

The actor, who is also the writer and director, said he had written the story in two parts.

"I had written the film in two parts and wanted to tell my audience the complete story. We decided to do in a two parts so that individually both the parts can work," he said.

The new film, which is currently in the shooting stage, will explore the emotional angle of human relationship.

"I am aware of the fact that my first film went through many hurdles as people created issues with it without watching it. The second part is both a sequel and prequel and it will focus on the romantic and emotional aspect now. It will be technologically more advanced. We have shot a scene underwater too,"

The poster looks great. We actually got to see that particular sequence where Wisam gets shot in the back by Omar post climax. Thanks a lot for sharing, Sakala....
