Vijay was ripped apart for giving movies like Sura or Villu. And the BO outcome of those movies are a clear indicator of the fact that even hardcore Vijay fans brushed aside those movies. If Vijay fans lap up a movie, then most likely the movie would break even. Eg:Vettaikkaran. Not many neutral audience liked the movie. But still the movie was more profitable than either one of Ayan/Singam which was disclosed by the man who distributed both the movies,Hansraj Saxena.

And for fans falling prey to favoritism, I would request you to check threads of last movies of the actors you mentioned, before coming to a conclusion.

From what I've seen so far, fans of this actor unlike fans of other actors (surya/ajith/...) very rarely provide constructive critical reviews. They pretty much endorse and lap up anything the actor provides giving him very little incentive to improvise in either extending range of emotions or picking original story lines or even evolving his own style during remakes.

I never found a constructive review from any of the ajith fan for Billa 2, which was most ridiculous screenplay ever, which had a good story-line!!!

Please don put makeup on you as though you guys are the most best person to accept the fact ur star has given crap movie. See Thalaiva is not the end, lots of movies are lined up for all the stars, Let me see how many genius like u are giving positive critic for any movie.. I will come to ur threads and will ask quoting you for a gentleman review. Bye until then now..
