Why does IR attract low-grade producers/actors most of the time? Except for a rare few, this breed of producers/directors make mediocre films, with mediocre cast and crew, mediocre production values and zero marketing. Often their only USP seems to be IR as music director. And unlike the 80s and 90s when IR still gave some exemplary music to even the most mediocre films, over the last few years, his output for such films seems to be quite ordinary. These movies often don't even get a TV release!
