I don't think 13,15 crores will be possible for a movie with delayed release. Vijay fans have ensured that the film has got a great opening inspite of all troubles. Real test starts this week. Higher numbers will be possible only with sustaining and it solely depends on family and repeat audience. Thuppakki got it because of unanimous positive WOM all over and with very low impact of piracy. I guess Thalaivaa will end up somewhere between 7-8 crores in the CBO.

if the movie is trimmed it will be more better

mixed reviews wont impact anymore in box office for thalaivar films..

this would've been easily became another 100c gross film for thalaivar if it had a smooth and perfect release as planned...

Singam is a Super Hit and it had lot's going for it right from the beginning. Thalaivaa has done remarkably well overseas and in other states such as Kerala. Due to delayed release and rampant piracy, the movie was starring at a disaster in TN. Thanks to Vijay's massive fan following, the movie has had a credible start here. I think we should be realistic going into weeks 2 and 3 in TN.

தலைவா படத்தை தயாரித்து லம்பாக லாபம் பார்க்கலாம் என்று நினைத்தார் சந்திர பிரகாஷ் ஜெயின். விஜய் போன்ற நடிகரை வைத்து பிரமாண்டமாக படம் எடுத்து லாபத்தை தவிர வேறு என்ன எதிர்பார்ப்பார்கள்? ஆனால் நடந்ததோ வேறு. படத்தை ரிலீஸே செய்ய முடியாமல் அல்லாடி, யு சான்றிதழ் பெற்றும் வாpச்சலுகை கிடைக்காமல், கண்ணீர்விட்டு மீடியாமுன் கதறி, அதற்கும் பலனில்லாமல் மருத்துவமனையில் நெஞ்சுவலிக்கு சிகிச்சை எடுத்து.... ஆ, அதுவொரு மாபெரும் துன்பியல் நிகழ்வு.

ரமேஷ் செல்வன் உளவுத்துறை, ஜனனம் போன்ற படங்களை இயக்கியவர். கலவரம் என்ற படத்தை தற்போது சத்யராஜை வைத்து இயக்கியிருக்கிறார். தயாரிப்பு அவரது நண்பர் ரவிச்சந்திரன். கலவரம் படத்தின் விளம்பரங்களைப் பார்த்து கலவரமான சந்திர பிரகாஷ் ஜெயின், அச்சச்சோ... உங்க கலவரம் வெளியானால் எங்க தலைவாவுக்கு தியேட்டர் கிடைக்காது, அதனால தலைவாவை ரிலீஸ் பண்ணுனப்புறம் கலவரத்தை ரிலீஸ் பண்ணிக்கோங்க. ஏன்.. நீங்க ரிலீஸ் பண்ணும் 2.25 கோடி தந்து நானே படத்தை வாங்கிக்கிறேன் என்றாராம்.

சரி, தலைவா வெளியாகிவிட்டது, 2.25 கோடியை வாங்கிக்கலாம் என்று ஆவலோடும், ஆவணங்களோடும் சந்திர பிரகாஷ் ஜெயினை பார்க்க ரமேஷ் செல்வனும், ரவிச்சந்திரனும் சென்றிருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களை பார்க்க அவர் மறுத்ததோடு, தரம்தாழ்த்தி திட்டி, கொலை செய்து விடுவேன் என்று மிரட்டியிருக்கிறார் (ஏம்பா, சந்திக்க மறுத்தவர் எப்படிப்பா திட்டியிருக்க முடியும், அப்படியே திட்டியிருந்தாலும் இவர்களுக்கு எப்படி தெரியும்? ஒருவேளை மறைந்திருந்து வாய்ஸை மட்டும் வெளியே அனுப்பியிருப்பாரோ?)

தற்போதைய பிரச்சனை, படத்தை வெளியிட முடியாததால் இருவருக்கும் (ரமேஷ் செல்வன், ரவிச்சந்திரன்) பெரிய அளவில் நஷ்டம் ஏற்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

இரண்டு பேருக்கும் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்வதைத் தவிர வேறு வழியில்லை. சம்பந்தப்பட்ட சந்திர பிரகாஷ் ஜெயின் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும். போலீசார் அவர்களுக்கு பாதுகாப்பு தர வேண்டும் (தற்கொலை பண்ணிக்காமலிருக்கவா?).

நிறைய லாஜிக் மிஸ்டேக்குடன் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் இந்த புகார் மனுமீது என்ன நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என்பது நாளை தெரியும்.
