Stressed and me not at all , I am just emphasizing a point here , IPL and CSK is still standing as is despite of their corruption / Scandals and what not shows the state of our society's mentality which is ready to live with this kind of rigged system that's all. I seriously don't care about what some boys or CSK fans think about me or my argument , those are the last souls I need to worry about they are fine in their own fairy tale champion of champions bubble , its ok whatever makes them comfortable !

On your Mumbai dominated comment , its another fabricated illusion you are using to justify the nonsense what Seenu mama and his gang is doing.Mafia(BCCI) is divided equally among all powerful cricket boards (West Bengal , Mumbai, Karnataka, AP , TN) for decades now. Time to time you will see one board appearing as powerful in reality all are part of same corrupt body. Which needs an urgent govt take over. So that Amma can be the next president

This is precisely the kind of parochialism that politicians feed on to get away even as players are stigmatised and denied a career in cricket. Do you seriously believe Srini mama or Pawar uncle care even one bit about Chennai or Mumbai? One look at their pot bellies should tell you where the money goes. When I tried to get tickets for the India-England Test at Wankhede last year, I found daily tickets were not being sold online! Er, so much for their desire to promote cricket in the country. And they have the temerity to complain about empty stands for Test cricket when it is they who do their best to sabotage it (perhaps so that they can kill it for good in the country and make IPL the sole exclusive property).

    Dilbert,

I very well know that the the North South West and South divisions take power taking turns. This time if Srini hasn't got the power of the leaders within the South region, another zone would have taken the control of the board. But Srini got the support of his zone leaders unanimously, which is a big deal. The other guys in the region could have gone different ways and led way to another region taking over the control. This way, it is a phenomenal achievement by Srini to take power this time. There is a reason why cricinfo calls him "Tamilnadu Strongman" and insist his phenomenal power within the board. I feel its really great to see a chennai guy calling the shots in the most powerful cricket board.

Regarding ethics or morals, chill down...I have already told that until the court tells Srini cannot take office, anyone can tell anything , it is all tea-bench opinions. Seeing a chennai guy to be in the most powerful position of an English game is great as chennai has been one of the revered location for playing cricket and the crowd has been called as "the most knowledged and sporting crowd" in India.

Crimson, please spare yourself from teaching me about being brainwashed by politicians. The next lines have no relevance with what I have said as its purely operational efficency and channel strategy related. If you don't get tickets online, its their channel strategy. What does it tell about srini or pawar ... to give you a flavour, there is a "reason" why IRCTC site is slow (not because government cannot add up some more servers to handle the traffic or modify the software architecture to have better handling alorithms). Its upto the government to decide which segment of the customer should benefit! But, I accept that BCCI should start looking at selling online tickets for test matches as its not full stands as it used to be for test matches in India.

So how do you account for the fact that tickets are easily available for IPL matches organised at the same MCA stadium? Some tickets are withheld for MCA club members in IPL matches too. I am not interested in teaching you anything. But I am certainly going to state how amused I am at your pride over a certain politician controlling cricket in this country merely because he is from TN. May God help cricket.

And please also care to explain why players should be handed bans while the matter is still sub judice if Srini mama uses the same logic as justification against resigning? The system is loaded in favour of the politician-administrators and your reluctance at acknowledging this is not going to stop me from saying it.

Crimson, please read my post above it. It is also amusing when you say to me a chennai guy that tickets are easily available for an IPL match rather than a test match. Please!!! You can walk to test match venue, get tickets and watch. As simple as that. I know people standing for 5-6 hours in queue for getting a ticket for an IPL match. "Casual Lies" in an argument is one of the most irritating thing.

Regarding my pride over whatever you feel is parochial - I was just referring to the game of power politics between multiple players. The game was fascinating and I was proud when Srini came out flying colors in the game. Why proud - its the same reason you feel proud when 11 players who are completely unrelated to you represent a region and win, just because they are from your region. Unless Court convicts Srini, the discussion of ethics is irrelevant to me.

Please come with facts. Players are charged with match fixing . In this case, first, Srini was NOT convicted. Secondly, it is his son in law and not for fixing but for betting.

SC is just following a blind law, which says if a "Non-Govt" body or Pvt Body is not subject to Criminal or Civil investigation. Courts doesn't have jurisdiction over advising on day to day operations. If Seenu Mama is a saint let him request a CBI investigation on IPL fixing. Apparam paarengea dabba dance ! . As I mentioned earlier, me alone chilling down and slowly soaping the bubble won't change the reality. And more importantly, I speak my mind. you guys touch your heart and tell me if it was RCB chief or SRH chief was in same position you would have spared them ? Why do you expect CSK to be treated any different ?
