Kamal has improvised himself and acquired much more knowledge and skills when compared to 1987, in fact he has done many good films after Nayagan.

But for Mani, as many would say Nayagan is his best work till date. It is not advisable for Kamal to go back to Mani at this point...

I recently watced Iruvar and it forced to change my positive views on it. But Nayakan on every visit is highly engrossing one. We love Nayakan more and more because of one finest actor's performance. Plot, Screen play, Dialogues, Direction, Back ground music, Cinematography, Editing, Set - everything came out very well towards a common plane. That's the beauty of the epic.
