Mayflower also prepares Mullangi poriyal with a slight variation.
    ( enakku masala othukkadhu )

idhu enga veetu mullangi recipe. ( Mostly people think its Cabbage poriyal )

    1 tbs oil
    ¼ tsp mustard seeds
    1 tsp urad dal
    1 sprig curry leaves
    2 green chilles finely chopped
    ¼ tsp finely chopped ginger
    grated coconut (as required )
    Salt to taste
1 ½ cups of grated mullangi
    2 tbs coriander leaves chopped

Heat oil in a non stick wok, add in the mustard seeds to splutter.
Add in the urad dal and the ginger.
Stir fry till the dals are lightly golden in colour.

Add in the chilli and grated mullangi.
    Add in the salt.

Fry on low flame closed with a lid with occassional stirs
Add the coconut and stir and remove from the flame.
    Sprinkle the cut coriander leaves
    ( cooking time 5 to 7 mins)

Uncle, one request from you, I love to make pizzas for my children.
My pizzas are quite o.k, but not as good as the shop.
Can you ask your son for the base recipe for the pizza.
    Thanks and take care, Kugan.
Thanks kugan ! It was fun. The grandchildren were more fun.

I will ask my son for pizza recipe. He is generally slow in responding. Besides, he makes pizza in a special oven made to his specifications.

He took some pictures and I don't know when he will upload and email me. When I get them I will forward them to you.

Madhu anneh, I always make pizza with, capsicum, mushroom, onions, pineapples, and tomatoes.
I do not like olives. The cheese is the only costly item in pizza making.
Otherwise pizza is that damn cheap if you make your own.
    Thanks and take care, Kugan.

Adada, Madhu anneh, I did not know the difference between the Mysore and Mangalore
I just followed blindly as to what the relative told me.
Thanks for clarifying it for me.
