Because Biriyani and Vidiyum Mun were already running in that theatre and it is easy to replace with an already ran film than a new film (agreement bargain will take time) .

That depends on number of Govt holidays. For Mankatha, They ran like that for 5 days (even after that). Here They couldn't even wait till Pongal holidays.

exactly my point as well. Its all agreement. Even if jilla would have been world class film, baby albert would have removed it on monday
