Anyway, few days back I had mentioned that I don't have a clue what Jilla means. I think it is supposed to be related as "Cool Guy". Adding more to that, the way Vijay says Jilla is yet another clue. Nesan, super ji, super.

We had subtitles and it said Jilla is District lol hahaha. Then the villain asks - district? What kind of name is that?

Firstly, "These guys are so predictable." is for the poster => just mentioning for the people who are following the views & reply amidst all these arguments and tweeter msgs.

Mahen had registered his disappointment over subtitles few days back. French subtitles innum vedika irrukum. I am not sure, but most of the subtitles are done with a translator application, and just corrections are made if the translator throws junk characters for unidentified words. It at no point of time takes into account the "expression" value of a language, but just its literal meaning. Dialogues can get a pass, but songs - a super LoL - its translated word by word with some fabulous re-arrangement of words, like - You are my Rainbow, You are my rainbow, I hold you in my sky ... tamasa irrukum !

But you see they are trying their best, when we get foreign audiences, I am sure they will give more importance and be attentive towards captions.

Time to tone down guys and discuss the movie ....

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is fresh from the success of Jilla, his recent Pongal offering. His fans are happy with the film and the trade is also satisfied with the collections from all corners.
