Veeram, directed by Siva, has turned out to be massive hit undoubtedly. The film has grossed 7.1 crores in Chennai city and in Tamil Nadu its collections were at 42 crores at the end of the first week. The collections from across the globe for this Ajith starrer was 50.5 crores.

Tammannah has re-entered the Tamil film industry with Veeram and the lady is happy that her career has got a new start with this Ajith starrer.

It’s been a week already since the release of the Vijay starrer Jilla and movie has been declared a huge hit. The producers are happy over the business that this movie is doing at the box office and Vijay’s fans are enjoying the masala entertainer to the core.

At the end of the first week at the box office, Jilla has managed to gross 6.80 crores in Chennai city alone. While in Tamil Nadu the collections stood at Rs. 41 crores, it was 52 crores worldwide.
