Sonia's voice is cracking... generally poor performance by all.... so far
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!

My pick from this whole ASS season - from the top 5 are Sarath, Diwakar, Parvathi, Sonia and Syed in order.

diwakar may be won it before the finals event. he had 7lakh out of 13 lakh votes. but he justified it on saturday in second performance.
syed not bad. he had masses behind him after diwakar
sarath good performances but no popular appeal to get votes
sonia very nervous very average
parvathy sounded like already given up
question is who will make it big in films

I think all the vote counts are fake. Its just an eyewash. The way Judges pampered Parvathy right from the beginning I thought she would get the first or second prize at least.

This means that you dont prefer anyone NOT trained in Telungu Plagiarised Shastriya Singing methodology! (from ancient thamizh isai, ofcourse)
ASS is a freudian slip for an acronym!
Actually, im interested in another fact -- "vidai kodu engaL nAdE" acrtually "seeks" to record the Pain and Agony of a people who were stripped of their Motherland/their ethnic nation and left to be "yEthilikaL" , refugees in alien lands.
And Syed sings it and Anti-Tamil Genocidal celebrators cheer for him too!
This simply proves the soul-less existence of these self-anointed "connoisseurs" - who Project art - bereft of any soul.
Music cannot be just a craft; it has to represent everything/ most parts of what human beings like to call as their civilization.
The whole "music competitions" are becoming Sham events.
But good to see that the "carnatic dinosaurs" have been silenced in this round!

Diwakar is a very promising talent for sure. But his Humma Humma gaffe suggests he needs more training under his belt. The rest struggled to project their voice powerfully in the open arena. Parvathy esp got exposed, her voice was just not strong enough.

Parvathy might have had peer pressure that sucked her ability to perform on stage. That does not mean her singing skills will fade away.
