. ஒன்று இந்த நோட்டிஸ்களிலெல்லாம் நடிகர் திலகத்தின் சாதனைகள் புரிந்த படங்களைப் பார்தோமென்றால் அவை அனைத்துமே 80-களில் வந்த படங்கள். வா கண்ணா வா, சங்கிலி, தீர்ப்பு, தியாகி, நீதிபதி, மிருதங்க சக்கரவர்த்தி, வெள்ளை ரோஜா,திருப்பம் மற்றும் வாழ்க்கை ஆகிய படங்களின் சாதனை துளிகளை அள்ளி தெளித்திருக்கிறீர்கள். நடிகர் திலகத்தின் lean period என்று ஒரு சாரார் சொல்லக் கூடிய காலகட்டத்திலேயே இப்படி வசூல் என்றால் அவர் என்றுமே Vasool Chakravarthi Ganesan என்பது எத்தனை நிதர்சனமான உண்மை!

Probably I feel, From 80's we would have had a better awareness on the collections, profit amount, Return on Investment etc (from money point of view) and the data more easily available than in yesteryears, the lean period many would say is more on the overall film quality (that includes story, direction, screen play, supporting cast, some forced additions to suit the generation etc.,)
