in kerala , some theaters terminated the movie after first day itself and 60% of screens removed movie after 4 days...now only playing
in major centers like tvm , kochi , calicut with minimum 40-50% audiance....siva karthikeyan's man karatte get much more huge opening in kerala
than kochadiyan..

in AP area , movie released in a huge number of theaters with 2d & 3d...but b , c class theaters of AP removed due to lack of common audiance..

in Banglore , decent collection from karnataka ... 6 versions of the movie released there...kochadiyan tamil 2d & 3d , kochadiyaan hindi 2d&3d , vikrama simha 2d & 3d

In telugu Kochadiayaan collected 2 crores which is huge flop considering the release in more number of theatres in AP then TN..In AP it will end with 4-5 crores which is disaster.In KL its a disaster right from day 1.
Just check the collection of Endhiran,Dasavatharam,Sivaji,Vishwaroopam in AP,KL..Endhrian tops the list with 30C..Compare 30C with 5C..In KA,KL Vishwaroopam tops the collection followed by Endhiran..
In Mayajaal 1st day 100 shows,2nd and 3rd day 70 shows,from monday it reduced to 12 shows which tells the story.
Media stated in 3 days Kochadaiyaan collected 42 crores and also mentioned the collection is close to 100C including television rights.. Did they think television rights is 50C+ for this animation movie which wont look gud in TV..

The film will end with 80C collections overall(In TN alone 50C) which is big loss for 125C budget with so much marketing from soudarya and co..
I dont know why rajni fans are so angry and not accepting the truth..the same thing happened for Kuselan and Baba...

Happy that Soundarya / Rajni tried to do something new in tamil film industry.

Whenever somebody try new things in film industry it may not be a instant commercial success, may be bit delayed.
Really laudable effort from Soundarya ..

I thought the animation wasn't bad, Soundarya has delivered a decent fair however the cliffhanger / abrupt ending could have been dealt properly and yes Rahman Ji was the captain propelling the movie with an impeccable score and without him the movie would have severely faltered. If the movie was live action, then I can't imagine how high the status of ssr would have elevated amongst the masses.

It would have been much better than Endhiran, it would have broken Endhiran's Records! IMHO

Before enthiran 10A holds the record collections of 25C in AP.Now enthiran is holding the record with 30C which is very difficult to beat.
I am not here to compare rajni and kamal but to make it clear Kochadaiyaan collections is very poor in AP compared to Enthiran/Sivaji/10A/VR..Rajni and kamal has very good market in AP but need to give entertaining films to audience..for instace till 1998 kamal's direct telugu flicks sagara sangamam,swathi muthyama,Indrudu Chandrudu,Subha Sankalpam were BB and lot of dubbed movies till 1998 were superhits..from 1999 till 2005 ie from heyram till virumandi is a dull period for KH and films bombed at BO in AP,infact many films bombed in TN as well during that period..
But his films started to do well from 10A,UPO,VR as it happens in TN as well..

Coming to kochadiayaan hardcore rajni fans will like the movie as its their thalaivar movie but to reach AP,KL audience and non-rajni fans it has to be entertaining/enjoyful like sivaji/enthiran and thats what everyone expect..
The movie has to be liked by everyone then only it will become a Super hit/BB otherwise it will be flop/average or at the most hit in TN alone which is applicable for rajni as well which he said in Kuselan movie itself..
Non-rajni fans,AP,KL,KA audience didnt like baba,kuselan and it flopped..
