சிங்கப்பூரில் ஒரு தையற்காரர் , "எம் ஜி ஆர் பேஷன் டெயிலர் " என்று கடை நடத்தி வந்தார் . மக்கள் திலகம் படங்களில் அணியும் உடைகளைப் போன்றே உடைகளை தைத்து சிங்கப்பபூர் மக்களிடையே பிரபலமானார் .

" எதற்கு ? " என்று மக்கள் திலகம் கேட்க .... " உங்க பெயரில் உங்களை கேட்காம கடை நடத்தறேன் , நூத்துக்கு ஒரு டாலர் வீதம் , உங்க பங்குக்கு சேர்ந்த பணம் . இதுவும் என் காணிக்கை .. என்றார் அந்த சிங்கப்பூர் டெயிலர் ...

மக்கள் திலகம் அந்த பணம் இருந்த தட்டை தொட்டு முத்தமிட்டு , தனது பெட்டியிலிருந்து 5000 ரூபாய் எடுத்து அதே தட்டில் இருந்த 20000 ரூபாய்க்கு மேல் வைத்து , " என் பேர்ல நடத்தி தோல்வியடையாமல் வெற்றியடைஞ்ச உங்க உழைப்புக்கு நான் தர்ற வெகுமதி ... எடுத்துக்குங்க " என்றார் ....
