sorry, didn't get the position of numbers. my eyes are deceiving.
another notable point mentioned during the commentary and in a news article was that nadal won the match with djokovic's double fault in 2012 and 2014. what a co-incidence!!

85th ranked Dustin Brown of Germany beats Rafa Nadal 6-4, 6-1 at the Gerry Weber Grass Court Championships in Halle, Germany. This was Nadal's first grass-court match since a first-round loss to Steve Darcis at last year's Wimbledon.

Who knows!
As far as as Rafa is concerned, Wimbledon could be a first round loss to an unranked qualifier, or another championship! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Federer going for 7th Halle title, final vs Falla
Federer fired 10 aces and defeated the fourth-seeded Kei Nishikori 6-3, 7-6 (4) [in the semifinals]. After a first-round bye, Federer began his Wimbledon preparations by defeating Portugal's Joao Sousa on Thursday then had a walkover in the quarterfinals.

Queens has been a lot more exciting this year than Halle (not usually the case because Halle tends to play a bit faster). Lopez has been in outstanding form and yesterday's match against Stepanek was a trip down serve and volley lane. Dimitrov is also showing signs of maturing and realising his potential. Should be a great final though it might get over quickly if Lopez finds his serve...as he has throughout the tournament so far.
