This song has a message about Tamil compositions in Carnatic concerts. In the early 50s one leading daily published articles asserting that Tamil compositions were unfit for carnatic music. That has changed. I was browsing youtube for video clips of concerts. I found one with entirely Tamil compositions. I like the change!
