ஆயிரம் படங்கள் வரலாம்,போகலாம், ஆனால் ,சில படங்கள் குறிஞ்சி மலர் போல மனதில் தங்கி, நினைக்கும் தோறும் இனிக்கும்.

This movie Sivandha Mann was really the magnum opus from director Shridhar who had had a long association with NT and delivered such gems of movies like Uththama Puththiran, Amara Deepam, Punar Genmam, ....Ooty varai uravu, ... Sivandha Mann...

Shridhar better known for his triangular knots on Love, had a penchant for presenting the fans with enchanting music, honey filled songs and dance situations, different camera angles, inherently comic dialogues, and above all some message in each movie. Sivandha Mann still remains unbeatable for its technical par excellence feats particularly the picturization of song sequences and some thrilling moments along the flow of storyline. NT's acting in this movie was felt in a different perspective and he excelled as usual with a harmony in his acting throughout the movie making one to feel that we enter into the screen and be with NT. Though certain flaws were inevitable this film remains one of the indispensable NT movie by quality and collections. Even the club songs 'hukumere mere...' by Nagesh-Sachu and 'sollavo sugamana kathai sollavo' are enjoyable till today for their technicality with respect to camera angles, dance and music synchronization, the fast pace of picturization....besides the ever popular numbers pattaththu rani and raja raniyidam..songs. The frame by frame richness and production value of this movie are comparable only to some hollywood standards.
