apart from Songs, the BGM was also good..esp the part when VJ sees Sneha eye to eye and the scene till Venaam venaam song....... that was awesome..... the whole film was a feel good movie and positive ambiance all around......antha padatha parthuttu i used to think..athula varra VJ maathiri oru mappillai sister ku parkanum nu

So are we moving on to Vijay 58, finally
.
Still can't get out of the Kaththi mania, favourite scenes and box office records still keep me hooked to it.
Looks like Vijay has started another big one here and cannot stop admiring the way he keeps hopping on to his next without much ado.
Wishing Vijay, a super outing and hoping for some good entertainment from Devan.

Thanks to Bimmer and Subras for keeping the thread alive with interesting discussions.
Not just you both, I have heard many people pick Vaseegara as their favourite Vijay movie.
To me personally, Vaseegara is not one of my favourites, though
Two things which I think Vijay should have done right for Vaseegara is first, he shouldn't have trimmed his hair, second, he should have trimmed S.A. Rajkumar, out.
The music apart from 'aha enbargal' IMO sounded way too outdated and his background score was equally inept IMHO.
Apart from that, the sequences involving Vijay and Vadivelu, Vijay's Kushi-like encounters with Sneha, the 'Engliss Theriyadha' reactions, his 'collector dream', Pandiyarajan's LOL roller coaster....were all really enjoyable.
All in all, an yet another Vijay movie of those times (Youth, Pudhiya Geethai, Thamizhan, etc) which had the makings of a really good movie, but somehow falling short, one reason or the other.
