The film's result only makes me wonder the quality of reviewers we have. Almost all the known reviewers in the social media praised the movie but within three days the film fell flat as expected. I guess it's high time for people like me change career, become a critic and make some quick bucks.

We can't equate reviews with BO collection always, most of the time it works but sometimes it won't. Recent example a big star movie with mostly positive reviews bombed.. (I'm not comparing the quaity of the movie here).

Like u said, BO cannot be equated with positive reviews. But IMHO Masss didnt have anything to satisfy the masses or the critics. I was surprised to see the positive reviews on the first day. May be they went soft on Suriya after the Anjaan saga. It also made me wonder if i watched a different film altogether. Anyways, I am happy to be proved right with my prediction this time.

Ajay, Don't you think poor BO turn out would be because of you-know-who gang's under ground work like what they did for Anjaan. Both were supposed to be block busters but BO results don't reflect that.

If yes then 24 will also have the same BO results irrespective of Surya's star power, good script and ARR music.

Star power or no star power, bad films will fail. We Vijay fans witnessed it during Suraa,Villu days and Suriya fans are witnessing it right now. Agenda driven reviews will have no impact on a film's success. I only wish everyone realizes that.

Adding to AB's views.. Reviews in social media can not bring enough audience to the theaters. After all 2 or 3 percent of total population reads / posts in the Social media.
